AviClear™ by Cutera is a highly sought-after laser procedure designed to combat acne. How Is Aviclear™ Performed?
AviClear™ is generally administered in a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. During the session, your provider will gently glide a small handheld device over your skin. The device, designed to deliver controlled wavelengths of light energy to the sebaceous glands, is also equipped with AviCool™, a feature that can regulate your body temperature and keep your skin comfortably cool during the session.
AviClear™ treatments are typically only half an hour long, and no downtime is usually required. The AviCool™ mechanism should prevent any major discomfort, but some patients feel a slight “snapping” sensation during the session. This is generally minor and should fade when the session ends.
How Much Does Aviclear™ Cost?
At our practice, the cost of AviClear™ ranges from approximately $3,300 to $4,200 for the 3 session treatment protocol; however, pricing is contingent upon several factors, including the need for additional treatment sessions and/or the incorporation of other procedures (e.g. cleansing facials post treatment, during the purge process) or the purchase of skin care products.
